Today we will be following the “anchor” C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today. Again, this is an “anchor” C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Yesterday was Back to School Night — with HUNDREDS of parents coming to WMS to meet your teachers and tour the school. And it was a HUGE success.

Special thanks to all our staff for working so hard on making your parents feel welcome; to our students volunteers — the tour guides, Yearbook staff, and WOLF-TV reporters — for their important contributions; and of course, to our custodial staff for making our school shine.

Calling all students! Please bring your iPad to PE this week for Physical Fitness testing. Once again, everyone needs to bring your iPad to PE from today through Friday. See your PE teacher with any questions.

Great news from the PE Department! The new gym uniforms have finally arrived. PE staff will begin passing out uniforms in class this Wednesday. And all students are expected to start “dressing out” in their uniform AND tennis shoes starting this Thursday. See your PE teacher with any questions.

What are YOU doing after school this year? The WMS Activities Fair is scheduled for next week — Monday for 6th graders, and Tuesday for 7th and 8th graders — both starting at 3pm in the cafeteria. Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the best activity for you! Late buses will be provided for students with a valid pass. See you at the Activity Fair!!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! You absolutely, positively, must WRITE DOWN the passcode to your iPad. Even better, share it with your parents! If you do forget your passcode, you need to submit a Student Tech Help Request Form so that Ms. Solomon can clear it. However, if you put in the wrong passcode in too many times, you will disable your iPad and it will have to be WIPED. So again, do us all a favor — and WRITE DOWN YOUR PASSCODE!! Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!!

Hispanic Heritage Month is just around the corner — and WMS is gearing-up for a host of activities and celebrations. But we need your help! Interested students are STRONGLY encouraged to contact our Equity Coordinator, Ms. Wielechowski, by this FRIDAY in room 124 OR through Canvas. Hispanic Heritage is an important part of our shared American story — and YOU can be a part of it. Thanks for your support, wolves!!
