Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Calling all students and staff! The 5th graders are coming!! For the second time this week, HUNDREDS of kids from area elementary schools will be visiting WMS to get a tour of their future school. You may see them in the halls, the cafeteria, or even peeking into your classroom. Please do your best to represent our community with PRIDE — and help to make these “younglings” feel right-at-home. Thanks for your help, Wolf Pack!

We’ve finally wrapped-up the 3rd quarter of school. And you know what that means: it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!! That’s right — the 3rd Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is scheduled for this FRIDAY during TA. But you MUST submit your Wolf Paws no later than TODAY at lunch to be eligible. And if you’d like a sneak-peak at the prizes, go check-out the display case by the library. Remember — turn in your Paws TODAY for a chance to win!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Earlier this year, 134 Williamsburgers participated in a national math competition called the “AMC 8.” Students were tested on 25 high level questions to demonstrate their understanding of advanced mathematical concepts.

And our students did GREAT!! Congratulations to our winners — in the 8th grade: First place Michael K., Second place Ester F., and Third Place Alex W!

In 7th grade: First place Liam J., Second place Margaret G., and Third place Liam C!

And in 6th grade: First place Darby H., Second place Lucas B., and Third place Stella L.

And special props to the overall WMS winner — 8th grader Michael K., who scored in the top 1-percent in the nation!!
