The SOLs wrap-up today with the 8th graders taking the Math test — and all 6th and 7th graders attending “team time.” The test will run from 8 to 11:02am.

And here’s some more information about the test: 8th graders have been assigned to several testing locations throughout the school. Just check with your TA teacher if you’re unsure where to go.

The ONLY materials you may have with you are your iPad, a bottle of water, and a book. NO OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES are allowed — no phones, smart watches, e-readers, nor anything else.

As for our 6th and 7th graders, you’ll be spending the morning in your “team time” location. And when you’re walking through the halls, we ask that you please be quiet and considerate of our test-takers. Thanks for your help, wolves — and good luck on the test, 8th graders!!

To accommodate the testing period, we will be following a MODIFIED A-Day schedule. Once the test is over, students will proceed to periods 1, 3, 5, and 7. And don’t forget that you should go back to your TA classroom for Wolf Time. See your TA teacher for more information about the modified A-Day schedule.

Attention all students! This is a reminder that there will be NO INTRAMURALS and NO LATE BUS for the remainder of the school year. All after-school activities are over. So make sure you’ve got a way to get home after school!

And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon! It’s almost time to turn-in your iPads! In preparation, all students are asked to please make sure you have a LABEL on your iPad case. The label should clearly display your NAME and Williamsburg Middle School.

This is really important for 6th and 7th graders to make sure you get your device back next year; and for 8th graders to make sure you’ve turned in your iPad before going off to high school. If you don’t have a label, you may get one from the Main Office. AND DON’T PICK IT OFF!!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! A big shout-out to the entire 8th grade who had an AMAZING time at Casino Night last Friday.
