Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Attention all students! Today is the LAST DAY of school intramurals and late buses! Once again, starting tomorrow, there are no more intramurals nor late buses. So make sure you’ve got a way to get home after school!

Winner winner, chicken dinner! The annual 8th grade CASINO NIGHT is scheduled for this FRIDAY from 6 to 8 p.m. in the cafeteria. There will be table games, dancing, selfies, delicious food, AMAZING prizes, and of course, hanging out with your best friends. Casino Night at WMS — get in on the fun!!

And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon! It’s almost time to turn-in your iPads! In preparation, all students are asked to please make sure you have a LABEL on your iPad case. The label should clearly display your NAME and Williamsburg Middle School.

This is really important for 6th and 7th graders to make sure you get your device back next year; and for 8th graders to make sure you’ve turned in your iPad before going off to high school. If you don’t have a label, you may get one from the Main Office. AND DON’T PICK IT OFF!!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The Virginia Junior Academy of Science held its annual Symposium last week, and a few of your fellow Williamsburgers were front-and-center. Congratulations to 7th grader Myla M., whose science project in the area of Chemistry received an Honorable Mention.

And a big shout-out to 8th graders Arhan and Kedar — who also did a great job at the Symposium — and to all of our WMS students who participated in VJAS this year. Way to go, science wolves!! [clap]
