  • We begin today with WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  Just before Spring Break, the WMS Track Team had a “meet for the ages” — matching up against Jefferson Middle School right here on the home turf.  The two teams were LITERALLY neck-and-neck right up to the finish line — in event after event.  But in the end, your Williamsburg Wolves were triumphant — winning the closest track meet in recent history:  88-point-5 to 87-point-5.  Way to go, running wolves!! [clap].
    .
The track team hopes to continue its winning ways TOMORROW with a meet against Kenmore Middle School.  So let’s root them on to victory and Be a Part of the Pride!!
    .
  • Attention Technology Wolves!! The Technology Student Association — aka the TSA — will NOT be meeting this week. However, the ACT II Inventions class WILL meet on Tuesday April 23rd. See Mr. Dudek with any questions.
    .
  • “Every HERO needs a squad!!” Just ONE WEEK remains for the Pennies for Patients fundraiser — sponsored by the WMS Check-In Program — with a goal of raising 5-THOUSAND dollars. This national campaign benefits the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which is working to find a cure for blood cancer.
    .
And here’s a little extra motivation for you: whichever TA collects the most money will get a free pizza and ice cream party!! Plus, Check-In will be selling CANDY and CHIPS after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. See Ms. Kia with any questions. And remember — every penny counts!!
    .
  • And here’s our weekly a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Argenal in the office with any questions.
