And now for an update on the March Madness Tournament of Books — Graphic Novel Edition! We’ve made it to the Final Four!! Its “The Crossover” vs “Mighty Jack” and “Claudia and the New Girl” vs “I Survived the Nazi Invasion, 1944.” Go to the WMS Library Canvas Course TODAY for more information about the remaining contestants — and to cast your vote for the best Graphic Novel of the year! The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!

Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

What’s that buzz? It’s the sound of the annual WMS GEO Bee — gearing-up for the big competition! If you’d like to participate, be sure to talk to your Social Studies teacher ASAP about taking the qualifying geography quiz. Finalists from each grade and team will compete on Friday, April 1st in the auditorium. Stay tuned for more information — and start studying your geography!!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Solomon! And this is important — so LISTEN UP!! All students in all grades have a homework assignment this week! Your school-issued iPad NEEDS to be updated to the latest operating system: iOs 15.4. But you can ONLY do this until March 25th — that’s when the county will turn this OFF for students. So do it now!

Here’s the procedure: Just go to Settings -> then select General -> and finally Software Updates. If you can’t update due to storage, please submit a Student Tech Help Request form with a list of apps to remove. Don’t delay, wolves — update your iPad TODAY!!

Did you participate in an after school club this year? Then this next announcement is for you! The WMS Yearbook is taking club pictures this week. Here’s the schedule so far: the Model UN and Inked pictures are TODAY in the Main Lobby immediately following the Morning Announcements. So again, if you’re in Model UN or Inked, please start heading over now!

Pictures continue on Tuesday with WolfBots, TSA, and Talking Sports; and Wednesday with Mathcounts and the Check-In program. We’ll update you on the remaining clubs as soon as they’re scheduled. See your club sponsor with any questions — and say CHEESE!!
