  • Today we will be following the C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today.  Again, this is a C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Exploratory Wheel RotationAttention all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel! Today, you will be rotating to your next exploratory class.  Theater goes to Family and Consumer Science in room 128; Family and Consumer Science goes to Visual Arts in room 127; Visual Arts goes to Journalism in the Library Classroom; and Journalism goes to Theater in room 228.  Staff members will be stationed throughout the halls this afternoon to help you find your way — but please do your best to be ON TIME.  Again, 6th graders begin their new Wheel classes TODAY.

  • Attention 8th graders!  Next week, the entire class will be taking a field trip to Arlington Tech.  But you MUST turn-in your permission slip in order to attend.  Once again, 8th graders need to turn-in your permission slips for the Arlington Tech field trip AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.  See Mr. Gardner with any questions.

  • Attention Anime Club! Today’s regularly scheduled meeting has been CANCELLED.  But for next week’s meeting, be sure to bring your final T-shirt design for Voting Day. Once again, there is NO Anime Club today.

  • Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I am hopeful because…” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts.  The deadline to submit is Tuesday, November 21st.   • PE Fall Gear Sale, 2023-2024The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business!  From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store.  It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days.  See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Girls Soccer team started the season off strong with a 3 to 0 win over rival Swanson.  The Wolves dominated the game from start to finish — and didn’t even allow a shot on goal until late in the 2nd half.

    8th graders Katie P., Julia F., and Delen L. led the offense with one goal apiece, while Matilda V. notched a pair of assists. And on defense, big props to 8th graders Amelia D. and Mackenzie C., and 7th graders Nora L. and Maggie K. for completely shutting down the opposition.  Way to go, soccer Wolves!! [clap]

  • And finally, November is Native American Heritage Month.  It’s a time to recognize and celebrate the rich diversity here in our shared community.

    Today, we’re going to be taking a closer look at the important role of DANCE in many Native American cultures.  This is the story of Kenneth Shirley, who founded an inter-tribal dance company dedicated to sharing the beauty of Indigenous dance.
