  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Ready, set, READ!!  The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. This is a make-up meeting from the cancelled session last week. So if you love to read, just bring your lunch and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!! See Ms. Tan with any questions.

  • Attention Math Counts club!! Due to tomorrow’s off-day, there will be no Math Counts this week. But meetings will resume next Tuesday, November 15th.  See Ms. Palermo with any questions.

  • Calling all MUNNERS!!  Since there’s no school tomorrow, Model UN has been rescheduled for TODAY during ASP 1 in room C105.  Participants will be prepping for the upcoming conference.  Once again, Model UN will be meeting TODAY.  See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

  • The Williamsburg Band Boosters will be hosting a bake sale on Election Day — this Tuesday — right here at WMS.  Student and staff are invited to come on by, get some sweet treats, and show your support for the WMS band program.  See Mr. Edwards for more information.
    .2023 MLK Literary & Visual Arts Contest
  • Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. had a dream — it was a dream about FREEDOM.   Students in all grade levels are invited to compete in the “2023 MLK Literary and Visual Arts Contest.”  Just go to the WMS website for instructions and for more information about this year’s theme.  The deadline for submissions is November 18th.

  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the LATE bus. If you’re ever planning to take the LATE BUS on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday — you MUST have a signed bus pass for both ASP1 and 2.  If you do not have a pass, you will NOT be allowed to ride the late bus.  Again — the pass must be SIGNED for both ASP1 and 2 in order to ride the Late Bus.  See your grade-level administrator with any questions.

  • And now for a special message from the WMS Equity Committee:  representation MATTERS. WMS is planning a series of events and activities to celebrate Native American Heritage Month. But we need your help!!

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS PTA Fall Festival was a HUGE success last week.  6th, 7th, and 8th graders all got to celebrate the season in the courtyard — with fun, games, treats and prizes.
