  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is a B-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • PE Fall Gear -- QR order codeAnd now for an EXCITING announcement from the PE department:  The PE Fall Gear Sale is now OPEN!!  WMS Hoodies and Long Sleeve T-shirts are available for purchase.  To order, just follow the link on the WMS homepage, your student Canvas course, the PTA newsletter, or the Morning Announcements Blog.  But don’t miss out!  The online store closes on November 28th.  See your PE teacher with any questions.
    .
  • And now for an important announcement from our school librarians!  If you checked out a book from the school library in September or October — then it’s probably about time to turn it back in!  Teachers will be passing out overdue notices in TA this week.  Students are asked to PLEASE return their books as soon as possible.  So look in your lockers, your backpacks, and at home — and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! On Tuesday, the WMS Girls Soccer team kicked-off its season with a road match against Kenmore — and lost a heart-breaker:  1 to nothing on a last minute goal.
    .
But they absolutely played their hearts out — 7th grader Caitlin S. blocked shot-after-shot in goal; while 8th grader Anna L. was a “one women show” on offense — dribbling circles around the opposing team’s defense.  Way to go, soccer wolves — you’ll get them next time!! [clap]
    .
  • And speaking of sports — the Boys Basketball team will be playing its home-opener next TUESDAY against Swanson.  Students and staff are invited to sit in the stands and root them on to victory!  However, due to safety guidelines space is LIMITED.  The online link to reserve your seat will be available on the homepage of the WMS website next MONDAY from 8am until noon.  It’s first come, first served — so don’t wait!  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • And finally —  For nearly 2-years, we’ve been living through the Coronavirus pandemic.  But hopefully, the end is now in sight.
    .
Students reporters Paul G., Caitlin G., and Conrad A. are on the scene with the latest news about the Covid vaccine.  Roll Tape!!
