  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is an A-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • And now for an important announcement from our school librarians!  If you checked out a book from the school library in September or October — then it’s probably about time to turn it back in!  Teachers will be passing out overdue notices in TA this week.  Students are asked to PLEASE return their books as soon as possible.  So look in your lockers, your backpacks, and at home — and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS!!
    .
  • Did you miss Picture Day last month — or did your picture not turn out so well? Then you’re in luck — because “Picture Make-Up Day” is coming soon! On Tuesday, November 30th, photographers will be on-hand for picture retakes in the Cafeteria from 8 to 10 a.m.  Just wait for the all-call over the PA system before heading over. It’s Picture Make-Up Day on November 30th.  Say cheese!
    .
  • And now for a special announcement from Mr. Smolinski’s WOLF TIME class!  Students are invited to participate in the “Turn Trash Into Treasure Art Competition!”  The goal is to raise awareness about reducing plastic waste.
    .
To enter, just use any recyclable material to make an original artistic masterpiece! Then submit a picture or video of your creation by scanning the QR code on the posters located by the main entrance and the cafeteria.  The deadline to enter is November 16th — and be sure to include your full name, grade, and TA.  Now get out there and turn your trash into treasure, Williamsburg!!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  We’ve got a week’s worth of results for the Boys Ultimate team.  They squared off for a series of games against TJ last Wednesday. The 6th graders scored a HUGE WIN at the very last second of their match! The 8th graders had a tie game, but it may have been their best all-around performance the season!  And the 7th graders lost, but played super tough on defense.
    .
And then on Monday, Boys Ultimate traveled to Gunston and won — BIG!!  The 8th graders’ “deep game” was unstoppable.  While the 7th and 6th graders were scoring at will, and their defense stopped almost every possession after a single pass. Way to go, ultimate wolves!! [clap]
    .
The final boys Ultimate game of the season is TODAY at Swanson after school.  Come on out if you can make it, and root our team to victory!!
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Boys Basketball team, which tipped-off its season yesterday with a commanding win on-the-road against Kenmore — 48 to 12 — led by Team Captains Sam R. and Jack I.
    .
The Defensive Player of the Game was James who couldn’t be beat in the back court; and the Offensive Player of the Game was Jack with 12 points.  Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]
