And now an important announcement for all TENNIS and BOYS SOCCER players — Please gather with your teams TODAY at 2:30pm outside of Door #4 for the trip to Gunston. If you’re late, you may miss the bus to your away game this afternoon. Again, tennis and boys soccer players should meet at 2:30 SHARP by Door #4! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

And one more announcement for the tennis team — This is your FINAL reminder that all players MUST complete another Google Form on the WMS website. Please have it done BEFORE today’s match against Gunston. Contact Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

2 – 4 – 6 – 8 — who do we appreciate??? CHEERLEADERS!!! Tryouts for the WMS Cheer squad are scheduled for TODAY, Monday and Tuesday after school in the gym. And please note — participating girls AND boys are asked to BRING YOUR IPAD to tryouts, and you must have a physical on file. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

Dribble, shoot, nothing but net!! The WMS Boys Basketball team will be holding tryouts next Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday after school. Players should come ready to play!! And don’t forget to submit your physical to participate. See Ms. Warden in room 115 with any questions.

Brush your hair, wash your face, and smile for the camera — because “School Picture Day” is coming! Portraits will be taken during PE classes on Monday, October 18th for ‘A’ Day and 5th period students; and Tuesday, October 19th for ‘B’ Day students. Remember, to place your purchase orders in advance! Be sure to get a Picture Day Order Form from your TA teacher — and say CHEESE!!

Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I will change the world by…” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. Submission forms can be found in the WMS Library, and projects must be received by October 26th. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The Boys soccer team had a battle for the ages against Kenmore on Tuesday — getting a well-earned TIE — 1 to 1. The player of the game was 7th grader Charli L., who practically “stood on his head” in goal while making TEN saves.

8th graders Rohan K. and Owen D. accounted for all the scoring — capitalizing on a corner kick late in the game. And the whole team played their hearts out. Way to go, soccer wolves!! [clap]
