Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Calling all students! All this week, everyone should go to your TA for Wolf Time — there will be several special activities for your to complete. Once again, please go to your TA for Wolf Time this week.

Attention all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel! Starting today, you will be rotating to your next exploratory class. Theater goes to Family and Consumer Science in room 128; Family and Consumer Science goes to Visual Arts in room 127; Visual Arts goes to Journalism in the Library Classroom; and Journalism goes to Theater in room 228. Staff members will be stationed throughout the halls this afternoon to help you find your way — but please do your best to be ON TIME. Once again, 6th graders begin their new Wheel classes TODAY.

Attention Anime Club! The Cosplay Costume Contest is TODAY during ASP 1 in room 109. So don’t forget to bring your costumes! Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang! The SOLs are just around the corner, so your iPad needs to be working! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!

April is the Month of the Military Child — and here at WMS, we have DOZENS of kids who are members of military families. So this FRIDAY, we’re going to show them our support and appreciation. All students and staff are asked to wear PURPLE on Friday for Purple Up Day!

Why purple? Because when you combine the colors from each branch of the military — blue for the Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy; green for the Army; and red for the Marines — you get purple!! So once again, show your support this FRIDAY by wearing PURPLE for Purple Up Day!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! The WMS Track and Field Team lost another tough meet at Jefferson Middle School yesterday: 104 to 131. Although they didn’t win, the team still gave it their all — including several STAND OUT performances.
.
Most notably, runners Paige C, Halo M, Evie M, and Avery N set the school record in the girls 200-meter relay with a time of 29.4 seconds. And 7th Grader Emmett W. set the school record in both the 70-meter dash at 8.69 seconds, and the long jump by at FOOT at 16-feet and 9-inches. Way to go, running Wolves!!! [clap]

WMS is hosting WOLFCHELLA this Thursday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 in the upper parking lot. WOLFCHELLA is a celebration of our school community with food trucks, games, and LIVE MUSIC.

So bring your whole family, some lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready for a great time! See ya at the ‘Chella, Williamsburg!!
