  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • Calling all students!  All this week, everyone should go to your TA for Wolf Time — there will be several special activities for your to complete.  Once again, please go to your TA for Wolf Time this week.

  • Exploratory Wheel RotationAttention all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel! Starting today, you will be rotating to your next exploratory class.  Theater goes to Family and Consumer Science in room 128; Family and Consumer Science goes to Visual Arts in room 127; Visual Arts goes to Journalism in the Library Classroom; and Journalism goes to Theater in room 228.  Staff members will be stationed throughout the halls this afternoon to help you find your way — but please do your best to be ON TIME.  Once again, 6th graders begin their new Wheel classes TODAY.

  • Calling all MUNNERS!! The Model UN Club is meeting TODAY during ASP I in room C105.  Participants will receive committee assignments for the upcoming TJ Conference, and discuss the latest world news. Slease see Mr. McDermott with any questions.

  • Attention Inked Club!  The Inked Creative Writing Club is CANCELLED for today.  But meetings will resume next week.  Once again, today’s Inked Club meeting has been CANCELLED. See Ms. Martin with any questions.

  • Attention Anime Club!  The Cosplay Costume Contest is scheduled for this WEDNESDAY during ASP 1 in room 109.  So don’t forget to bring your costumes tomorrow!  Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

  • And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Lavin in the office with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  A big CONGRATULATIONS to our 2024 WMS Geo Bee Champion:  8th grader ________!  ________ beat out 17 other finalists to win the title.  Thanks to everyone for participating.  Way to go, geography wolves!! [clap]

  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with the WMS Track and Field Team, who lost a heartbreaker to Dorothy Hamm Middle School last Thursday:  92 to 85.  Although they didn’t win, the team still gave it their all — including several STAND OUT performances.
    .
    Most notably, THREE school records were broken! 7th grader Whitaker C. broke his own 400-meter record at a blistering 64.78 seconds; 7th grader Lucas H. smashed the 600-meter record by almost TEN-seconds, clocking-in at 1-minute and 36-seconds; and the Girls 280-meter relay team of 8th graders Zoe H, Sophia M, Amelia D, and Kaitlyn S, set a new school record at 40.07-seconds! Way to go, running Wolves!!!
