  • Due to the delayed opening today, we will be running on a modified schedule. Be sure to check with your TA teachers for class and lunch times. And remember — there is NO Wolf Time today, so please proceed directly to 1st period following the Morning Announcements.
    .
  • The final “refocus assembly” for the 7th grade Wizards team has been postponed — AGAIN — due to inclement weather.  Stay tuned for more information about rescheduling.  But in the meantime, do your best to remain “focused” on your own!
    .
  • Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!
    .
  • Attention Model UN Club!  There will be a pair of mandatory meetings this week for all students participating in the upcoming Gar-Field Conference — TODAY and THURSDAY, both during ASP 1 in room 202.  See Ms. Carlson with any questions.
    .
  • The Kindness Club meeting has bee CANCELLED for today.  The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 23rd.  All are welcome to participate — new members and old — as they brainstorm ideas for the new year.  See Ms. Schaefer, Ms. Zeller, or Mr. Johnson with any questions.
    .
  • The Boys Cohort meeting has been CANCELLED for today.  Instead, it’s been rescheduled for Monday, January 22nd.  See Mr. Hicks or Ms. Cameron with any questions.
    .
  • The Future Business Leaders of America — aka the FBLA — will be meeting during Wolf Time on FRIDAY in room 137. Students will be discussing New Years resolutions and creating posters to display around the school.  Bring a friend and check it out!
    .
  • Did you know that throwing away old electronics and batteries can cause hazardous materials to seep into the ground?  It’s true!  But the WMS Earth Club has a solution:  There will be a special recycling drive from now until January 19th here at Williamsburg.  Bring in cell phones, lap tops, cameras, batteries, or any other electronics and they’ll be safely wiped and recycled.  Just drop them in the bins by the main entrance or cafeteria.  See Ms. Mentch or a member of the Earth Club with any questions.
