- Today we will be following the C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today. Again, this is a C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Attention all students! Please bring your iPads to Health and PE today for a special Health Presentation. Once again, everyone needs to bring your iPad to Health and PE. See your PE teacher with any questions.
. - Believe it or not, but next MONDAY is the last day of the 1st Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, grades close on MONDAY of next week.
. - And speaking of the end-of-the-quarter: it’s almost time for the Wolf Paw Drawing!!! That’s right — the 1st Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing will be held NEXT THURSDAY, November 9th, during TA. But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws by this FRIDAY. The Wolf Paw Prizes will be on display outside of the library next week — and there’s going to be some great stuff in there. So don’t delay! Be sure to turn in your Wolf Paws TODAY!
. - Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I am hopeful because…” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. The deadline to submit is Tuesday, November 21st. Go to wmspta.org for more information. Unleash your inner artist and submit to the PTA Reflections Contest today!!
. - The PE Fall Gear Sale is open for business! From now until November 19th, WMS families may purchase hoodies, long-sleeved t-shirts, joggers, or leggings through the online store. It’s a great way to show your Wolf Pack Pride — AND to stay warm on these cold fall days. See your PE teacher with any questions about ordering.
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The boy’s Ultimate team played a pair of games against Gunston on Monday. In the first match, our 7th and 8th grade premiere team lost a very tough game to Gunston’s undefeated 8th grade team, but they played their hearts out.
.
And in the second game, our 6th and 7th grade premiere team earned a stunning win — 6 to 1. Our players were scoring at will, and Gunston couldn’t penetrate our strong defense. Way to go, Ultimate Wolves!!
. - And finally, today marks the beginning of National Native American Heritage Month — also known as American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month.
.
As we recognize and celebrate the rich diversity in this county, we bring you a special message about what it means to be America’s “first people.” Roll Tape!!
