National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month

SEPTEMBER is National Suicide Prevention Awareness Month.

There are steps we all must take in looking out for loved ones, the people in our community, and those who have been impacted by this leading cause of death.

During the week of Monday, September 8th – Friday, September 12th, counseling services will have tables outside of the cafeteria with more information and handouts to share with students regarding National Suicide Prevention Awareness.

On Wednesday, September 10th, we are asking students, teachers, faculty, and staff to wear PURPLE or TEAL to show their support for World Suicide Prevention Day by wearing Purple or Teal. This simple but powerful gesture will help raise awareness and demonstrate our school’s commitment to mental health and well-being. Thank you in advance for your participation.
