- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Can you believe we’ve been in school for an entire month — and incredibly, we’re just about halfway through the first quarter! Teachers will be posting mid-term grades next MONDAY, October 4th for all students. That means if you’ve got any missing assignments or make-up work to do — it’s now or never. So be sure to check Canvas and StudentVue, and contact your classroom teachers with any questions about your grade. Get it done, Wolves!!
. - An important reminder for all student-athletes in Boys Soccer, Tennis, Girls Ultimate, and our newest club Boys Gotta Run! Please complete the online Google Form that’s located on your sport’s webpage on the WMS website. Forms MUST be received by TODAY in order to participate in today’s games. Again, be sure to complete the Google Form ASAP! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! The middle school Fall sports season got underway on Tuesday. Boys Soccer took on Jefferson in their home opener. It was a hard-fought match, but Jefferson squeaked out the win — defeating the Wolves by a score of 2 to zero. Big props to 7th grader Charli L. — who kept it close right until the end with an incredible EIGHT saves in goal. Good game, soccer wolves — you’ll get them next time! [clap]
. - Girls Ultimate Frisbee also started up yesterday with a double-header at home against Swanson. In the first game, our 8th graders fell into an early hole, but made a defensive adjustment and came storming back. Unfortunately, they ran out of time and came up just short, losing 6 to 8. Meanwhile, the 6th and 7th graders had a back-and-forth battle in their game — with the lead changing hands several times. But in the end, Swanson came out on top — 5 to 6 — scoring the winning point right at the end. Two tough losses — but great games by Eden, Sydney, Alli, Clare and Sophia. Way to play, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]
