- This morning, WMS will be administering the school-wide Virginia Growth Assessment for Math. TA teachers will provide you with your testing location — so make sure you know where to go.

The only thing you need for the test is your school-issued iPad. You may also bring a book and water bottle — but please do not bring any phones, smart watches, readers, nor anything else.

The test is scheduled to run from 7:55 to 9:30am. Once complete, we will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — for about 35 minutes each. So make sure you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. See your TA teacher with any questions. Good luck on the test, wolves!!
. - What are YOU doing after school this year? The WMS Activities Fair is scheduled for THIS WEEK — TODAY for 6th graders, and THURSDAY 7th and 8th graders — both starting at 3pm in the cafeteria. Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the best activity for you! Late buses will be provided for students with a valid pass. See you at the Activities Fair!!
. - Attention all students! Last week, WMS received the prestigious Blue Ribbon Award — recognizing our school as one of the very best in the entire country! In commemoration of this event, the school is getting everyone T-SHIRTS!! To get yours, just complete the GoogleForm through your WMS Student Info page in Canvas by this THURSDAY at 3pm. Otherwise, you’ll automatically get a size medium. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions. And enjoy your t-shirt, Wolves!
. - Calling all athletes!! If you want to participate in Boys Ultimate, Boys Basketball, or Girls Soccer this year, you MUST have a physical on file! Physicals for Boys Ultimate are due this Friday; while physicals for Boys Basketball and Girls Soccer are due on Friday, October 12th. You ONLY need to submit ONE physical for the entire year — so if you’ve already submitted one, you’re good! And don’t forget to scan the QR code outside of Ms. Hogwood’s office to register!
