Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

What are YOU doing after school this year? The WMS Activities Fair for 7th and 8th graders is TODAY — starting at 3pm in the cafeteria. And just in case you missed it, 6th graders can come, too! Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the best activity for you! Late buses will be provided for all students who attend. But please leave all of your belongings in your LOCKER before coming to the event. See you at the Activities Fair!!

Calling all returning Anime Club members!! If you would like to help out at the Activities Fair, please join Ms. Armistead in the cafeteria today from 2:50 to 4pm. It will be Anime-zing!! Thanks for your help, Anime-niacs!!

Put your creative genius to the test! The annual PTA Reflections Contest is now accepting submissions from all grade-level students. This year’s theme is: “I Belong!” Projects can include Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, or Visual Arts. The deadline to submit is Friday, November 21st. For more information, go to the Williamsburg website or email [email protected]. Calling all TAs!! Don’t forget to keep working on your class MURAL project, which represents the values we hold dear at WMS. The themes are: 6th grade – KINDNESS; 7th grade – SPEAK UP; and 8th grade – REACH OUT. Murals are DUE on October 3rd. See Ms. Battle with any questions.

Calling all basket-ballers!! Tryouts for the WMS Boys Basketball team begin on October 14th. Interested players should sign-up using the QR codes outside of the Activities Office. And don’t forget that you need a current physical on file in order to participate. See Coach Clark for more information about boys basketball, or Ms. Hogwood with any questions about physicals.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the WMS Girls Ultimate team — who defeated Dorothy Hamm last Wednesday in BOTH of their matches.

In the first game, our 8th grade team won handily by a score of 10 to 1 — led by Alina and Loella. And in the second game, our combined 6th and 7th grade team won by a score of 8 to 3 — behind the great defensive play of Neve and Tippy.
