  • Today we will be following the C-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember, there is NO Wolf Time today.  Again, this is an “anchor” C-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • All students in all grades must bring their iPads to PE this week for fitness room training and physical fitness testing.  Once again, please be sure to bring your iPad to PE.
    .
  • And now for an important announcement about Girls Ultimate! All players should leave their 7th period class today at 2:20pm, change into your uniform, and meet Mr. Smo outside of Door number-1 as quickly as possible.  The team bus will be departing before school gets out so you can start the game on time.  Once again, Girls Ultimate should leave class to get ready at 2:20.  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • What are YOU doing after school this year? The WMS Activities Fair is scheduled for next week — Tuesday the 26th for 6th graders, and Thursday the 28th for 7th and 8th graders — both starting at 3pm in the cafeteria.  Meet with coaches, club sponsors, teachers, and participating students — and find the best activity for you! Late buses will be provided for students with a valid pass.  See you at the Activities Fair!!

  • Calling all athletes!! If you want to participate in Boys Ultimate, Boys Basketball, or Girls Soccer this year, you MUST have a physical on file!  Physicals for Boys Ultimate are due on Friday, September 29th; while physicals for Boys Basketball and Girls Soccer are due on Friday, October 12th.  You ONLY need to submit ONE physical for the entire year — so if you’ve already submitted one, you’re good!  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS girls Ultimate team won its season opener on Monday against Kenmore — 9 to zero.  Playing through a strong wind, the Wolves superior throwing ability allowed them to score at will.
    .
Big props to 6th graders Anna and Elliot who played extremely well on both offense and defense; and to 7th grader Eden who didn’t allow anything to get past her on ‘D.’
    .
Way to go, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]
