Could your parents survive a day in Middle School? We’ll soon find out! TONIGHT is BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT at WMS, from 5:50 to 8pm. Parents will essentially be “walking in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school. So go home and tell your folks: come to Back to School Night this Wednesday — and be a Part of the Wolf Pack Pride!

Attention all students who tried out for the WMS Cheerleading team! The Cheer team roster is now posted outside of the Activities Office. So be sure to take a look. Contact Coach Herb or see Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

Calling all TAs!! Don’t forget to start working on your class MURAL project, which represents the values we hold dear at WMS. The themes are: 6th grade – KINDNESS; 7th grade – SPEAK UP; and 8th grade – REACH OUT. Murals are DUE on October 3rd. See Ms. Battle with any questions.

Attention all students!! How would YOU like to be a part of the Yorktown High School Half Time Show at their next football game??? This FRIDAY is Yorktown’s Rising Patriot Band Night, and our 8th grade band will be performing on the field.

And YOU can perform, too! The Yorktown Color Guard is inviting all 4th through 8th grade students to join them on the field for a special performance. Just scan the QR code on your screen to sign up — or see Mr. Edwards with any questions.

And even if you don’t want to be in the show, everyone is invited to pack the stands at YHS this Friday night, support our 8th grade band, and root Yorktown to victory! See you there!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to the girls Ultimate team — who beat Kenmore Middle School in their season opener on Monday — 7 to 0.

Captains Addi C. and Lydia V. were lights out with their throws, and new comers Paloma V. and Lina B. showed real talent with their defensive and cutting skills. Way to go, Ultimate wolves!! [clap]
