  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7— so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time.  Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • This is National Suicide Prevention Week.  And today, we’re focusing on the power of EMPATHY.
    .
When people are struggling, we can help just by showing that we UNDERSTAND and CARE ABOUT what they’re going through.   Even a small act of kindness can go a long way.
    .
And now, stay tuned for this special video about suicide prevention.
  • If you or someone you know is struggling, please reach out to someone you trust — a friend, a teacher, a counselor, a family member, or another trusted adult.  You can also call the suicide prevention hotline at 988.
    .
Thanks for your help, Wolves, and thanks for supporting Suicide Prevention Awareness!!

  • Calling all members of the 2025 co-ed Tennis Team!  You MUST complete the roster QR code — located outside of the Activities Office — before going to practice at Yorktown today.  Once again, everyone on the tennis team needs to complete the roster QR code TODAY. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • 2-4-6-8, who do we appreciate? CHEERLEADERS!!  Tryouts for Co-ed Cheerleading begin next MONDAY.  And if you’re planning to try out for Cheer, you MUST attend one of the clinics this week so you can learn the routine. And be sure to complete the QR code outside of the Activities Office.  Contact Coach Herb or see Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • And don’t forget that to participate in ANY WMS sport, you need to have a current physical on file. This is NON-NEGOTIABLE. Contact our Activities Coordinator, Ms. Hogwood, with any questions.
    .
  • Hispanic Heritage Month is just around the corner — and WMS is gearing-up for a host of activities and celebrations.  But we can’t do it without YOU!  Any students who would like to help plan the events for Hispanic Heritage Month are encouraged to contact Ms. Wielechowski in room 124 before or after school.  Thanks for your help, and for supporting Hispanic Heritage Month, wolves!!
    .
  • Listen up, Wolves!  If you’ve got any old crayons lying around at home — put them in a box, and bring them to school!  WMS is working with the Crayon Initiative — an organization that recycles and melts down used crayons, then makes NEW crayons for kids in the hospital. So your donation will not only be supporting the environment, but a child in need as well.  Just drop them off in room 106.  See Mr. Thompson with any questions.
