  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And don’t forget, all students should go back to your TA for Wolf Time.  Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • All students in all grades must bring their iPads to PE this week for fitness room training and physical fitness testing.  Once again, please be sure to bring your iPad to PE.

  • Fall sports are ready to roll!  First up —   Tryouts for the WMS Boys Soccer team kick-off TODAY after school on the Turf Field. Interested athletes should sign-up using the QR code outside of the Cafeteria, or next to Mr. Treble’s room. See Mr. Treble with any questions. Come ready to play!

  • Could your parents survive a day in Middle School? We’ll soon find out! This TUESDAY is BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT at WMS, from 5:50 to 8pm. Parents will essentially be “walking in your shoes” — as they follow your daily schedule, meet your teachers, and tour the school. So go home and tell your folks: come to Back to School Night this Tuesday — and be a Part of the Wolf Pack Pride!

  • Today marks the beginning of National Suicide Prevention Week — and it’s a chance for all of us to come together and make a positive difference. This may be a tough topic to talk about, but it is important to spread awareness and check up on one another.
    .
Sometimes, when people are suffering — both kids AND adults — they may feel hopeless, all alone, and may be at serious risk. People may have thoughts of hurting themselves, or worse.  But we want you to know that your classmates, teachers, counselors, and administrators are all here to support YOU.
    .
Today, we ask EVERYONE here in our shared community to come together in support of Suicide Prevention.  A kind word or friendly gesture can make a meaningful impact on those in need.  So here’s our challenge to you!
    .
Make an effort to say something or do something “nice” for at least TWO people in our school today. Something as simple as that can truly make a difference.  Thanks for your help, Wolf Pack, and thanks for supporting Suicide Prevention!
