Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. And remember to go back to TA for Wolf Time. Again, this is an A-Day and Wolf Time is in your TA. See your TA teacher with any questions.

The end-of-the-year is in sight! And you know what that means: it’s nearly time for the 4th quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!! This Friday is the LAST Wolf Paw Drawing of the year. But to be eligible, you MUST turn-in your Wolf Paws by this WEDNESDAY at lunch. Late “paws” will not be accepted, so again — be sure to turn-in your Wolf Paws by this Wednesday! Good luck, wolves!!

And now for a special announcement from the 8th grade Family and Consumer Science class. This is Luna, just one of the many sweet puppies and dogs from the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. You can help Luna and her canine friends by donating old T-shirts which will be recycled into dog toys. Just bring your donation to room 128 by this WEDNESDAY— and Ms. McFerran will give you a Wolf Paw for your support. Thanks for your help, Wolves!!

Are you ready to see the soccer game of the year??? Come out this TUESDAY after school as the WMS boys’ soccer team takes on the 2024 girls’ County Champions on the WMS turf. Plus, they’ll be selling snacks on the blacktop, and late buses will be provided at 4:15. Let’s get it on!!

Who do you think would win a basketball game between our WMS students and our WMS staff?? Well, we’re about to find out! This THURSDAY after school, 8th graders from the boys’ and girls’ basketball teams are taking on their teachers in a winner-takes-all match. Plus, they’ll be selling snacks outside of the gym, and late buses will be provided at 4:15. So come on out, pack the stands, and root the kids — or the boomers — on to victory!!

And now for an important announcement from our Activities Coordinator! Please be aware that the after school bus will ONLY be running on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday this week. There will be NO after school bus on Wednesday. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

It’s nearly the end of the year, and the school librarians want their books back! All WMS library books are due on TUESDAY, June 3rd. If you still have any books out after Tuesday, you can expect to get notices in TA, messages in Canvas, and emails to your PARENTS. So look in your backpack, your locker, and under your bed at home — and BRING IN YOUR BOOKS! See Ms. Tan in the library with any questions.

Hey, 8th graders! Are you ready to PARTY??? The 8th grade Boardwalk Beach Carnival and Dance is scheduled for this Friday night from 6 to 8pm. There will be dancing, selfies, delicious food, AMAZING prizes, and of course, hanging out with your best friends from middle school.

The dance is for 8th grade Williamsburg students ONLY. Drop off and pick up in the bus loop. Attendees are encouraged to dress up in “beach” attire — but NO BATHING SUITS. The 8th grade Boardwalk Beach Carnival and Dance on Friday— get in on the fun!!
