Today is an EARLY RELEASE day, so the schedule is a little different than usual. We will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8 o’clock, and then you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7. Be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a modified C-Day. Calling all BALLERS!! The Head Coach of the Yorktown Boys Basketball Team is coming to Williamsburg on FRIDAY to meet with prospective players. So if you’re an 8th grader and interested in trying out for the Yorktown Boys Basketball team next year, please go to the cafeteria this Friday at 7:55 — just be sure to check-in with your TA teacher first.

This June, WMS is celebrating Pride Month to support our LGBTQIA+ students and staff. In preparation, we are holding a t-shirt fundraiser — with all proceeds going to the “It Gets Better” campaign. You can order until this THURSDAY by using the online Spirit Store on the WMS website. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions — and thanks for supporting Pride Month!

Do you like candy? Then you’re in luck! The WMS Check-in Program will be selling candy after school on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays in the main lobby and in front of the cafeteria. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society — an organization that helps kids with cancer. So be sure to stop by for a sweet treat every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Day ONE of the Track and Field County Championships is in the books — and Williamsburg is in SECOND PLACE, just 5-points behind the leader.

Great job to all of the student-athletes who competed. And big props to our 2023 County Champions: 7th graders Tia A. in the high jump and Ashley P. in the Long Jump; and 8th grader Mila F. who defended her high jump title from last year! Day TWO of the tournament is scheduled for this Thursday. Way to go, running and jumping wolves!! [clap]
