- We’ve reached the final day of standardized testing. This morning, the entire school will be taking the Math SOL. The test is scheduled to run from 8 to 11:45am, and most students will be grouped with their math classes. TA teachers have all of the room assignments, and can tell you where to go.

And here’s some more information about the test: The ONLY materials you may have with you are your iPad, a pencil, a water bottle, and a book. NO OTHER ELECTRONIC DEVICES are allowed — no phones, smart watches, air pods, e-readers, nor anything else.

Also, once the testing session has begun, students will NOT be allowed to go to their lockers. So make sure you’ve got everything you need BEFORE the test begins. See your TA teacher with any other questions. Good luck on the SOL, wolves!!
. - Once the SOL period is over, students will spend the rest of the day in their TA classrooms for some special grade-level activities. Your TA teacher will provide you with more information, and will go over your grade-level schedule. And please be aware that overflow testing will continue in the library throughout the day, so remember to be mindful as you’re walking through the halls.

.- Are you ready to see the soccer game of the year??? Come out next TUESDAY after school as the WMS boys’ soccer team takes on the 2024 girls’ County Champions on the WMS turf. Plus, they’ll be selling snacks on the blacktop, and late buses will be provided at 4:15. Let’s get it on!!
