Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! If your iPad is ever out of commission, WMS has a limited number of laptops that students may use instead. However, several of these computers have gone missing lately, and we need them back! So when you go to your locker today, please look to see if there’s a WMS laptop in there. And if there is, TURN IT IN!! Thanks for your help, wolves!!

And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the bus. If you’re ever planning to take a bus that’s not your own — like if you’re going to a friend’s house after school — you MUST bring a note from home to the main office NO LATER than your grade level lunch. Again, do NOT wait until the end of the day to get a bus pass — because there isn’t time and you’ll miss the bus! See Ms. Lavin in the office with any questions.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The 13th annual Arlington Student Film Fest was held at Wakefield High School on Wednesday — and our Williamsburg film makers did GREAT!!

There were SEVENTEEN “official selections” from our school, NINE of those films were finalists in their category, and THREE films won FIRST PLACE!!

Big Props to 6th grader Cole N. who won Best Comedy Picture; to 8th graders Madison H., Diego P.R., and Helene H. for Best Broadcast News story; and to Niko H. — that’s me! — and Madison H. for Best PSA. Plus, 8th grader Zayd K. won a special filmmaking award for Writing.

Wolf Pack Pride continues with WOLFCHELLA! Hundreds of WMS families turned out for our annual community festival yesterday evening — featuring live music, good food, and tons of fun!
