  • Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • Attention Swim and Dive teams!!  Today is the Arlington County Swim and Dive Championship!  Here’s the schedule:  participants should leave class at 2:15pm, then meet outside of the library.  The team bus will depart for Wakefield at 2:30 sharp — so don’t be late!  See Ms. Hogwood with any questions, and GOOD LUCK water wolves!!
    .
  • Give a Helping Hand to a four-legged friend!  The WMS Helping Hands Club is wrapping-up the school year with its favorite project:  a supply drive for the Animal Welfare League of Arlington! From now through next Wednesday, students and staff are encouraged to donate dog toys, pet food, leashes, or anything else on the “wishlist” posted around school.  The collection bin will be located in the main lobby.  Thanks for supporting the Animal Welfare League, and for helping their pets in need!!
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang!  The SOLs are just around the corner, so your iPad needs to be working!  If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
    .
  • And speaking of SOLs, did you know that MOST students finish their SOLs BEFORE time expires?  And that once you’re finished, you are NOT allowed to use your iPad? So you need to plan ahead!  Students are encouraged to stop by the library and check-out a good book before the SOLs begin.  You’ll be glad you did!  See our school librarians for a recommendation.
    .
  • And finally — It’s time to make time for WOLF TIME!!
    .
Wolf Time plays a critical role in your education here at Williamsburg.  But how much do you really know about it?  Student-reporter Layne M. has the story.
