Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

WHAT ARE THOSE??? As part of our school’s commitment to sustainability, Williamsburg is supporting a Sneaker Recycling Program called “Got Sneakers!!” So if you have any old shoes lying around, please donate them to “Got Sneakers” by dropping them off in room 233. Again, bring your old shoes to room 233. See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.

Have you checked the lost and found lately? There’s a table outside of the cafeteria with DOZENS of jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, and so much more. Plus, nearly every teacher also has a lost and found in their classrooms. So be sure to take a look — you may just find some long lost treasures!

And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang! Your school-issued iPad is critical to your instruction here at WMS. Please remember that you are expected to bring it to school EVERY DAY and FULLY CHARGED. And if there’s anything wrong with it, please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!

And if your iPad is ever out of commission, WMS has a limited number of laptops that students may use instead. However, several of these computers have gone missing lately, and we need them back! So when you go to your locker today, please look to see if there’s a WMS laptop in there. And if there is, TURN IT IN!! Thanks for your help, wolves!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to 8th grader Tyson W. for winning a SILVER MEDAL in the National Scholastic Art Competition for his project — “Mean Lizard”!

Tyson was one of just FIVE middle school students in all of Virginia to receive NATIONAL recognition for his artwork. It’s a HUGE honor, and we’re all so proud. Way to go, Tyson!! [clap]

TONIGHT is WOLFCHELLA here at WMS — from 5 to 8pm in the upper parking lot. WOLFCHELLA is a celebration of our school community with food trucks, games, and LIVE MUSIC.

So bring your whole family, some lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready for a great time! We only ask that you remember to respect our shared environment — by throwing away your trash when you’re done. Thanks for your help, wolf pack. And we’ll see ya TONIGHT at the ‘Chella!!
