Do you like candy? And how about DONUTS? Then you’re in luck! The WMS Check-in program will be selling CANDY today and DONUTS on Friday — after school in the main lobby and in front of the cafeteria. All proceeds will benefit the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society — an organization that helps kids with cancer. So be sure to stop by after school for candy today and donuts on Friday. See Ms. Kia with any questions. And thanks for your support, wolves!!

And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon! In preparation for the Spring SOLs, all students need to upgrade the operating system on your iPads to iOS 16.2 or 16.3 AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. Just go to the “Software Update” tab under “Settings” on your iPad, then follow the on screen instructions. Once again, please update your iPad to iOS 16.2 or 16.3. And if it’s not working or if you need help, please submit the Student Tech Help Request Form. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!

And now for a “Transportation Tip” about riding the LATE bus. If you’re ever planning to take the LATE BUS after school — you MUST have a signed bus pass for both ASP1 and 2. If you do not have a pass — you will NOT be allowed to ride the late bus. Again — the pass must be SIGNED for both ASP1 and 2 in order to ride the Late Bus. See your grade-level administrator with any questions.

Tickets for the WMS Spring Musical — Shrek, Jr. — are on sale NOW for just 3-dollars each. Performances will be held on Thursday, May 4th and Friday, May 5th at 7pm; and on Saturday, May 6th at 2pm. Look for posters around the school for online ordering instructions, or contact Ms. Mac for more information. Get your tickets to Shrek, Jr. TODAY!!

We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about you??? WMS will be hosting its 2023 Pep Rally on Friday, May 26th — but we need to start planning NOW!

Be on the look out for the Pep Rally game sign-up! Ms. Hogwood will be sending it out in Canvas soon. But each student may only participate in ONE game — so choose wisely! See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.

And finally — this June, WMS will be recognizing and celebrating Pride Month to support our LGBTQIA+ students and staff, and to encourage everyone to honor our diverse community.

As part of the celebration, we are holding a t-shirt fundraiser — with all proceeds going to the “It Gets Better” campaign. You can order through the WMS website via the online Spirit Store. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions — and thanks for supporting Pride Month!
