  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
    .
  • And speaking of Wolf Time — starting TODAY, all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will begin their new Wolf Time rotations.  So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going.  Once again, the new Wolf Time rotation begins today!

  • Calling all MUNNERS! The Model UN Club is meeting TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Assignments are ready for the upcoming conference, and participants will explore headlines from around the world while we were on break. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.
    .
  • Attention Anime Club! Be sure to attend the next meeting this WEDNESDAY during ASP 1 in room 109.  Participants will be setting up the Spring Art Showcase.  It will be ANIME-zing!! Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

  • WHAT ARE THOSE??? As part of our school’s commitment to sustainability, Williamsburg is supporting a Sneaker Recycling Program called “Got Sneakers!!” So if you have any old shoes lying around, please donate them to “Got Sneakers” by dropping them off in room 233. Again, bring your old shoes to room 233.  See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.
    .
  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Stokes-Beverley and Ms. Hwang!  Your school-issued iPad is critical to your instruction here at WMS. Please remember that you are expected to bring it to school EVERY DAY and FULLY CHARGED.  And if there’s anything wrong with it, please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
    .
  • Have you checked the lost and found lately? There’s a table outside of the cafeteria with DOZENS of jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, and so much more. Plus, nearly every teacher also has a lost and found in their classrooms. So be sure to take a look — you may just find some long lost treasures!
    .
  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!!  The WMS Dive Team competed in the Arlington County Championship Meet on April 10th, and they did GREAT — finishing in 2nd place overall!
    .
Big props to 6th grader Alex K. who took FIRST PLACE in the girls division.  And congratulations to fellow divers Landon, Harper, Clare, and Emmy for doing such an AMAZING job all season long.  Way to go, diving wolves!! [clap]
