Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

There are going to be a few new faces in school this week! Today and tomorrow, HUNDREDS of rising 6th graders from neighborhood Elementary Schools are coming to visit. They’ll get an orientation, a guided tour of our building and classrooms, and a preview of what’s in store next year. So if you see these kids in the hall, please be sure to give them a smile — and welcome them to the Wolf Pack. Thanks for your help, wolves!!

Calling all Anime-niacs!! The Anime Club is hosting a SPECIAL meeting today from 2:45 to 4pm in room 109. You will be joined by visiting artists from the New York School of Arts!! So be sure to bring your sketch pads and drawing supplies. It’s going to be anime-zing!! Contact Ms. Armistead with any questions.

On your marks, get set, GO!! The WMS Track and Field team is taking on Gunston Middle School TOMORROW on the athletic field during ASP 1 and 2. During the event, the WMS Check-In program will be selling snacks and candy on the blacktop — but it’s CASH ONLY. Everyone is encouraged to come out, buy some sweet treats, and root our team to victory!!

And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.

Ready, set, READ!! The 9th annual March Madness Tournament of Books has reached the Final-4! This year’s contenders are a mix of the most checked-out books from the library AND recommendations from the TAB Club.

Here’s how to participate: Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course and cast your vote. We’ll announce the results next week. And remember: the TA in each grade with the best bracket will win a prize — so make your vote count! The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!!
