- Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Calling all students! All this week, everyone should go to your TA for Wolf Time — there will be several special activities for you to complete. Once again, please go to your TA for Wolf Time this week.
. - And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang! The SOLs are just around the corner, so your iPad needs to be working! If you are having any problems with your school-issued iPad — whether it’s password problems, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please tell your TA teacher so they can notify technology support. They’ll have you back online in no time!!
. - April is the Month of the Military Child — and here at WMS, we have DOZENS of kids who are members of military families. So this FRIDAY, we’re going to show them our support and appreciation. All students and staff are asked to wear PURPLE on Friday for Purple Up Day!
.
Why purple? Because when you combine the colors from each branch of the military — blue for the Coast Guard, Air Force, and Navy; green for the Army; and red for the Marines — you get purple!! So once again, show your support this FRIDAY by wearing PURPLE for Purple Up Day!
. - And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! Congratulations to the following WMS Choir students for making and attending the All-Virginia Choir in Richmond last week: Frankie D., Caleb B., Asia P., Naomi T., Eliana V., Sally B. and Charlotte A.
.
These INCREDIBLE singers auditioned against students from all over the state, and worked very hard to be our Williamsburg representatives at the All-Virginia Choir. Please give them a congratulations if you see them. Way to go, musical wolves!
. - Who’s ready to party??? WMS is hosting Wolfchella TONIGHT from 5:30 to 8:30 in the upper parking lot. WOLFCHELLA is a celebration of our school community with food trucks, games, and LIVE MUSIC.
.
So bring your whole family, some lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready for a great time! See ya at the ‘Chella, Williamsburg!!
. - And finally, have you ever sprained your ankle? Twisted your knee? Or maybe you’ve even broken your leg!
.
Coming to school and navigating the halls can be extra challenging when you’re dealing with an injury. Student-reporter Mac W. has the story.
