    .
  • Attention all students!  Starting TODAY — all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be starting their new Wolf Time rotations.  So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going.  Once again, the new Wolf Time rotation begins today!
    .
  • The next GSA meeting has been rescheduled for TOMORROW during ASP 1 in room 106 — it is NOT today. Once again, the GSA will be meeting on TUESDAY.  All are welcome! See Ms. Wielechowski or Ms. Bell with any questions.
    .
  • Have you ordered your class t-shirt yet?  All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders are reminded to go online and register for a FREE class t-shirt.  Just follow the link in your Canvas inbox and complete the google form. The deadline to order is this FRIDAY. See Ms. Hogwood with any questions.
    .
  • Calling all students and staff!!  Please be aware that we will be practicing the new Fire Drill Procedure BETWEEN classes on Tuesday.  When you hear the alarm tomorrow, remember to exit the building using the closest exterior door, then walk around campus to your TA teacher’s location.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!  Congratulations to the WMS Dive Team for winning its match against Gunston last week. The whole team made quite the “splash.” Way to go, diving wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride continues with a big congratulations to our WMS Geo Bee winner — 7th grader Michael K. — who edged out fellow 7th grader Krishan S. in the finals last Friday.  Michael missed only 3 of the 28 questions during the competition. Thanks to all of our competitors, and to everyone who helped make the Geo Bee possible.  Way to go, geography wolves!! [clap]
    .
  • Wolf Pack Pride wraps up with the Virginia Junior Academy of Science! Congrats to the following students whose science project papers were accepted into the VJAS Symposium:  8th graders  Abby K, Kate M, Alexander P, Derek B, Maya UT, Blake T, Roxy C, Maddy M, Clara A, and Isaac W.

  • Up next, student-reporter Gray H. Is back to give us the final results of this year’s NCAA Tournament.
    .
    Take it away, Gray!
    .
  • GRAY: Hello sports fans! I’m Gray and I’m MAD for March Madness!! We promised you the results of the NCAA tournament so here they are.
    .
In the men’s draw, 4-seed UConn destroyed 5-seed San Diego St. in the finals, beating them by 20 points for their fifth championship in school history.
    .
And in the women’s draw, 3-seed LSU knocked off 2-seed Iowa for their first championship in school history. This matchup pitted the two best college players against each other — Angel Reese from LSU and Caitlin Clark from Iowa.  But Reese and LSU won in the end by nearly 20 points!
    .
And with that, March Madness is over — but we’ll be seeing many of these college hoopsters playing in the pros before too long: the WNBA draft was last week, and the NBA draft will be in June.  Once again, I’m Gray and I was mad for March Madness!!
    .
  • Thanks, Gray!  And finally today, the Washington Commanders are back in the news.
    .
Team owner Dan Snyder may be forced to sell the team!  And student-reporter Matty M. says MOST fans would be just fine with that.  Roll Tape!!
