Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a B-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

And for WOLF TIME, all students are to report to their TA classrooms for a special activity from the Student Services Department. For the final time this week, all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be exploring NAVIANCE — setting goals, and planning for your future! So once again, please go to your TA classroom for Wolf Time. See your class counselor with any questions.

Believe it or not, but TODAY is the last day of the 3rd Quarter! So be sure to check StudentVue and talk to your teachers about any missing assignments or make-up work. Again, 3rd Quarter grades close TODAY.

Up next, we need to talk about LOCKERS! Before you leave for Spring Break today, please make sure that there is NO FOOD left in your locker. We don’t want to get BUGS! And if you’ve decorated a friend’s locker, those decorations must also be removed by the end-of-the-day. Thanks for your help, and for respecting our shared environment, Wolves!!

Ready, set, READ!! The votes are in, and we have our CHAMPION for the 9th annual March Madness Tournament of Books! It was the closest contest we’ve ever had. Only ONE VOTE separated the winner from the loser. And this year’s champion is: “Keeper of the Lost Cities” by Shannon Messenger!!

And we also have ANOTHER winner to announce — the TA with the best bracket. Congratulations to: Mr. Bruno’s TA!! Out of all the brackets in school, Mr. Bruno’s had the most matchups correct. So everyone in his TA is going to get a special prize when you return from Spring Break. Way to go, March Madness wolves!! [clap]

Thanks to everyone who participated in the March Madness Tournament of Books. All of the books in this year’s tournament are available NOW in the WMS Library. So if you’re looking for a good read, just ask our school librarians.
