Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Attention all students! Starting TODAY — all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will be starting their new Wolf Time rotations. So be sure to check with your TA teachers to find out where you’ll be going. Once again, the new Wolf Time rotation begins today!

And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon! The 8th grade Writing SOLs are scheduled for THIS WEEK — so your iPad NEEDS to be working. All students are asked to make sure you’ve updated to iOS 16.2. Please do this AT HOME and make sure your iPad is plugged in. And if you’re having any other issues, whether it’s password problems, your battery won’t charge, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech Help Request” form through the WMS website. Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!

The WMS Best Buddies Club needs your help! From now until Wednesday, Best Buddies is collecting “care items” to help those in need. Check-out the posters hanging around the school for a complete list of items that you can donate. Collection bins are located outside of the cafeteria, library, and auditorium. Thanks, buddy!

Attention all students! If you ever have to leave school early, please be sure to bring a note from your parents to the Main Office. They’ll give you an Early Dismissal Pass — which you can show your teacher to get out of class. However, you may NOT leave the school until your parents arrive to pick you up. Just wait in the Main Office until they get here.

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE! WMS hosted Parent-Teacher Conferences last week — and there were parents EVERYWHERE!! Hundreds of families stopped by to meet your teachers, and discuss the best way to support YOUR success in school.

Thanks to all of our teachers and staff for staying late, coming in early, and representing our school. Thanks also to our PTA for their support — and that amazing bake sale fundraiser for Shrek, Jr. Way to go, grown up Wolves!! [clap]

The 7th annual March Madness Tournament of Books has begun!! This year’s theme is books that were made into TV shows or movies!

To participate, just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course and cast your vote for the Sweet-16. We’ll announce the results next week. And if your TA hasn’t completed a class bracket yet, try to get it done by this WEDNESDAY to be eligible for a prize. The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!
