Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Have you checked the lost and found lately? There’s a HUGE lost-and-found located in the cafeteria with DOZENS of jackets, sweatshirts, water bottles, lunch boxes, and so much more. Plus, nearly every teacher also has a lost and found in their classroom. So be sure to take a look — you may just find some long lost treasures!

And now for an important SAFETY ANNOUNCEMENT for all students! When crossing the street on the way to school or on the way home, please DO NOT USE YOUR iPHONE!! Distracted walking is incredibly dangerous, so you really need to pay attention to the traffic around you. Once again, put down your phone in the crosswalk — and STAY SAFE!!

Ready, set, READ!! The 10th annual March Madness Tournament of Books has officially begun!! This year’s contenders are all new books to the WMS library — so they may also be new to YOU. Just go to the Library Canvas course for a description of each book.

Here’s how to participate: Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course and cast your vote for the Sweet-16. We’ll announce the results next week. And remember: the TA with the best overall bracket will win a prize — so make your vote count! The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Yesterday was the 6th grade “Disco Fever” dance; last Friday was the 7th and 8th grade “Glow Party” — and BOTH events were a huge hit!!

HUNDREDS of students were in attendance — showing their school spirit and having a great time. Special thanks to our teachers and the PTA and for putting it all together. And we look forward to more of these fun events in the future. Way to go, wolves!! [clap]
