  • And now for a “technology tip” from Ms. Hwang! It’s time to upgrade your iPad!  APS has just approved the newest iPad operating system — iOS 17.3.1.  All students are asked to install the new version as soon as possible — but please be aware that it takes about 30-minutes to complete, so you should do this AT HOME.
    .
Just follow these simple steps: First open “Settings” on your iPad.  Next, select “Software Update”, tap “Download” and then “Install.”  Then just wait for it to finish.  And if you’re having any trouble getting the new iOS to install, be sure to ask your TA teacher to submit a tech support ticket.  Don’t forget!  Install iOS 17.3.1 as soon as you get home.

  • It’s Social Emotional Learning Week here at Williamsburg — and we have a special message from APS. Today, we are highlighting the SEL competency of SELF AWARENESS. Self-awareness includes skills like identifying our emotions, recognizing our strengths, having self-confidence and a growth mindset.
    .
Being self-aware helps us to understand how our thoughts and feelings affect our behavior. It also helps us understand our strengths and the things we need to work on. Stay tuned all week long for more SEL tips and activities. See Ms. Terzaghi with any questions.
