. - What’s that buzz??? It’s the annual Williamsburg Geo Bee — scheduled for this FRIDAY afternoon in the auditorium. Finalists from each grade-level have been selected and will be contacted soon with more information soon. Thanks to all of our students who participated in the classroom competitions — and to all of our social studies teachers for working to make the Geo Bee happen!
. - All the BEST BOOKS are on sale NOW! The WMS-PTA Scholastic Book Fair is open for business — all this week in the Library. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders will all have a chance to visit with their English classes — but everyone is welcome to stop by before TA, during lunch, and after school on most days. Look for the signs around the school and on the school website for exact hours. Don’t forget to bring your money — and go get yourself a good book!
. - Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! The 10th annual Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2022 competition. Just follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog to submit your video and application by the deadline on April 3rd. The Festival itself will take place on May 14th at Washington-and-Liberty High School — where all of the finalists and award-winners will be screened. See Mr. Schonfeld for more information.
