• Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — plus Wolf Time — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Calling all 8th graders! The end-of-the-year field trip to Kings Dominion is just a few months away — but we need to start getting ready RIGHT NOW!! Permission slips and payment are DUE this FRIDAY.  If you don’t turn them in, then you WON’T get to go.  Please bring them to Ms. Willet or Mr. Treble.  See your World Geo teacher with any other questions or to get a new permission slip. Don’t miss out on the fun, 8th graders!!

• On your marks, get set, go! Students and staff are invited to the first WMS track meet of the year — TODAY after school on the athletic field — as we take on Swanson Middle School.  There will be snacks available for purchase — but it’s cash only!  Let’s root our team to victory, Wolf Pack!!

• Attention Swim and Dive teams!!  Today’s meet will be at the Washington-Liberty pool. ONLY those participating may attend the event. Please leave class at 2:15pm to catch the team bus — and keep your eye on Canvas for any last-minute messages from Ms. Hogwood.  Good luck, water wolves!!

• Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! There’s just 3-days left to submit your film to the Arlington Student FilmFest. To participate, just scan the QR code located in the Morning Announcements Blog, or contact Mr. Schonfeld and he’ll walk you through the application process.  Now go make some movie magic!

• Ready, set, READ!! Voting for ELITE-8 in the March Madness Tournament of Books is underway! Just go to the Library Canvas course to participate.  And may the best book win!

• And finally — Any student who did not take the SEL Survey earlier this week must do so TODAY in TA.  Please complete the survey HONESTLY and in its entirety.  See your TA teacher with any questions.  Once again, anyone who still needs to take the SEL Survey should begin NOW!
