• Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• Calling all students!  The WMS Yearbook is getting ready to take pictures of all clubs and extra-curricular activities. Here’s the schedule for this week:
  .
  TODAY is the Check-In program in the cafeteria at 2:45;
  .
  TUESDAY is TAB in the library during all grade-levels lunches;
  .
  WEDNESDAY is the Scholastic Art Competition winners in the main lobby at 8am, as well as Card Games in room 101 at 2:45;
  .
  THURSDAY is the cast and crew of Shrek, Jr., in the auditorium at 2:45;
  .
  And FRIDAY is Best Buddies in the cafeteria at 8am, and both TSA and WolfBots in the main lobby at 8am.
  .
  Members of those groups should try to get there ASAP so they’re not left out of the picture! Check with your club sponsor or Mr. Schonfeld with any questions. Stay tuned for more information about additional club pictures coming soon.

• Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! The 11th annual Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2023 competition. Just follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog to submit your video and application.  The submission deadline is March 31st — and the Festival itself will take place on May 4th at Kenmore Middle school. See Mr. Schonfeld for more information.  Now go make some movie magic!

• The 7th annual March Madness Tournament of Books has made it to the Final-4!!  Check out the new match-ups in your WMS Library Canvas Course — and cast your vote for the next round.  We’ll announce the results next week.  The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!

• The WMS Geo Bee is creating quite a buzz around school these days.  Competitions are coming soon for multiple grades.  So it’s the perfect time to practice our geography trivia.
  .
  Here’s today’s question:  Only one nation in the world begins with the letters O, Q or Y.  Can you name these three countries?  (que music) The answer is:  Oman, Qatar, and Yemen!!
