- Today is an EARLY RELEASE day, so the schedule is a little different than usual. We will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8am, and then you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7. Be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a modified C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.
. - Attention 8th graders! Your schedule is different from all the rest. You’ll be going to 1st period as usual — but then you have a Reading and Writing FIELD TEST from periods 2 through 5. Once it’s complete, you’ll go to lunch and then have your regular 6th and 7th periods. See your TA teacher with any questions about your test location or the modified schedule.

Calling all film-makers, journalists, and video-jockeys! The 11th annual Arlington Student FilmFest is now accepting entries for its 2023 competition. Just follow the link in today’s Morning Announcements Blog to submit your video and application. The submission deadline is March 31st — and the Festival itself will take place on May 4th at Kenmore Middle school. See Mr. Schonfeld for more information. Now go make some movie magic!

- The WMS Best Buddies Club needs your help! For the past few weeks, they’ve been collecting “care items” for people in need. Due to popular demand, they are EXTENDING the collection until March 24th. Collection bins are located outside of the cafeteria, library, auditorium, and room 108. Check-out the posters hanging around the school for a complete list of items that you can donate. Thanks, buddy!
. - Hey, Wolf Pack! Do you have old sneakers at home that you’ve outgrown? Instead of throwing them away — you should DONATE THEM! As part of Williamsburg’s commitment to sustainability, we are now collecting athletic shoes in room 233. Shoes in decent condition will be donated to those in need, while everything else will be recycled. Once again, bring your old shoes to room 233. See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.
