• Today we will be following the A-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is an A-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

• And now for an important announcement for all 6th graders on the Exploratory Wheel — TODAY you will be rotating to your NEW exploratory class. Staff members will be stationed throughout the halls this afternoon to help you find your way — but please do your best to be ON TIME. Again, the new Wheel classes for 6th graders begin TODAY.

• Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

• It’s the cold and flu season — and you may have noticed that a number of your classmates have been falling ill lately. But there’s something super easy and super important that you can do to protect yourself from those nasty germs: WASH YOUR HANDS!! Challenge yourself to wash your hands throughout the day — especially before lunch and after using the restroom. Health officials say that lathering your hands with soap for 20 to 30 seconds can kill the majority of germs that make people sick. So let’s keep it clean, wolves, and wash your hands!!

• “I’m so glad I didn’t buy a yearbook” — Said no one EVER! The deadline to buy your 2020 WMS Yearbook is April 1st — less than one month away.  And supplies are going fast — so get yours before they’re gone!  Yearbooks cost 40-dollars — or for 55-dollars you can get the exclusive “Signature Package.” To order, just follow the link on the WMS homepage — OR use your phone to scan the QR code on the flyers throughout the building to send an “ordering text” to your parents.  See Mr. Schonfeld with any questions.  The WMS Yearbook — Don’t miss out on the memories!

• And finally today — the 4th annual WMS March Madness Tournament of Books is officially underway!!  Sixteen of your favorite books have been pitted against each other in a battle for the 2020 WMS Book of the Year.  Students can cast their votes for the Sweet-16 round by scanning the QR code outside of the main office — or just follow the link in the Morning Announcements Blog on the WMS website.

  And don’t forget to complete your TA bracket by this WEDNESDAY — because the best bracket in each grade will get an awesome prize!  Good luck, wolves, and may the best book WIN!!
