  • Today we will be following the A-Day schedule.  That means you’ll be attending periods 1, 3, 5, and 7 — so be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class.  Again, this is an A-Day.  See your TA teacher with any questions.

  • And now for a technology tip from Ms. Solomon!  The 8th grade Writing SOLs are scheduled for NEXT WEEK — so your iPad NEEDS to be working.  All students are asked to make sure you’ve updated to iOS 16.2.  Please do this AT HOME and make sure your iPad is plugged in.  And if you’re having any other issues, whether it’s password problems, your battery won’t charge, not connecting to the internet, glitching apps, cracked screens, or ANYTHING else — please submit the online “Student Tech Help Request” form through the WMS website.  Ms. Solomon’s got the solution to getting you back online!

  • It’s nearly time once again for Parent-Teacher Conferences! Conferences will be held “Arena style” on THURSDAY from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m., and on FRIDAY from 8 to 11:30 a.m. Tell your parents that they can meet with ONE or ALL of your classroom teachers. No appointments are necessary, but meetings are limited to 5 minutes each. Parents and teachers together — what could be better than that?!

  • What’s Up, Duloc? The WMS Theater Department will be hosting a Bake Sale Fundraiser during Parent-Teacher conferences this FRIDAY outside of the library from 7:30 to 10:30 a.m. There will be snacks, baked goods, and plenty of coffee. And all proceeds will go to support our upcoming Spring musical:  Shrek, Jr!!  So tell your folks to bring some cash, and help us make the show Shrek-tacular!

  • Hey, Wolf Pack!  Do you have old sneakers at home that you’ve outgrown? Instead of throwing them away — you should DONATE THEM!  As part of Williamsburg’s commitment to sustainability, we are now collecting athletic shoes in room 233.  Shoes in decent condition will be donated to those in need, while everything else will be recycled. Once again, bring your old shoes to room 233.  See Mr. Sundwick with any questions.
    .
  • The WMS Best Buddies Club needs your help!  From now until March 8th, Best Buddies is collecting “care items” to help those in need.  Check-out the posters hanging around the school for a complete list of items that you can donate.  Collection bins are located outside of the cafeteria, library, and auditorium.  Thanks, buddy!
