Today is an EARLY RELEASE day, so the schedule is a little different than usual. We will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 8 o’clock, and then you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7. Be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a modified C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in PE!! All students must bring their iPads to PE this week for Physical Fitness Testing! When fitness testing is complete, you can lock your iPad in your PE locker. But DON’T FORGET them after class! Once again, everyone should bring your iPad to PE.

The tech crew meeting for Shrek, Jr. has been RESCHEDULED for this THURSDAY during ASP 1 and 2 in the Theater. Once again, the tech meeting is now on THURSDAY.

Everybody in the pool!! The WMS Swim and Diving teams are getting ready for a new season. Interested athletes should complete the Google Form on the WMS website by February 21st.

Show someone you care this Valentine’s Day with a card and a Candy Gram! From now to Friday, students can purchase a Valentine’s card for a dollar or a Candy Gram for 2-dollars in your TA. They’ll be delivered to your special someone next week — and all money raised will support the Best Buddies Club. Happy Valentine’s Day!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! A big OVERTIME win for the Boys Basketball team at home against Gunston yesterday — 47 to 45. Sam R. played BIG the whole game, Matt L. had a great turnover with just 4 seconds left, and Danny S took the biggest shot of all — sinking the game-winning basket to win it in overtime. And a huge shout out to Thomas T, who was injured in the 2nd period — the whole team appreciates your hustle!!! Way to go, baller wolves!! [clap]

Up next for boy’s basketball — tomorrow is our first ever HOMECOMING GAME, scheduled for after school in the gym. There will be performances by the WMS Cheerleading Squad, the Band, and of course the Boys Basketball team taking on Thomas Jefferson Middle School. There will also be snacks and concessions for sale, so be sure to bring some money! Now let’s pack the stands, root our team on to victory, and be a Part of the Wolf Pack Pride at the 2023 Homecoming Game!!

And finally — We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU?! This week is SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — leading up to the Yeti-Land Dance on Friday night! Thanks to everyone who showed their school spirit today by dressing up for Twin Day!l

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Thursday is Sports Day; and Friday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade blue, 7th grade white, and 8th grade black.
