Today we will be following the B-Day schedule. That means you’ll be attending periods 2, 4, 5, and 6. Also, there are NO WOLF TIME classes today, so all students should go back their TA classrooms for Wolf Time. Once again, this is a B-Day and there is no Wolf Time. See your TA teacher with any questions.

Who’s ready to party?! The 7th and 8th grade “Sneaker Ball Dance” is TONIGHT from 6:00 to 8:00pm in the WMS gym. There will be a DJ, dancing, and snacks. And best of all: hanging out with your friends. But please — NO OUTSIDE GUESTS. Once again, the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance is TONIGHT. And be sure to wear your sneakers!

Next Monday is Random Acts of Kindness Day, and we have a special request for students and staff. Kindness is like a super-power — it’s a simple act that can make an ENORMOUS difference. So on Monday, we’re asking everyone to dress up like a superhero, and to use the power of kindness to help someone else. Thanks for your help, kindness wolves!!

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at Williamsburg, sponsored by the Student Council Association. Thanks to all the students and staff who dressed up for today’s theme: Hollywood Bling Day!

And now, it’s time for “Black History Month — That’s a FACT!!”

Today’s fact is about a stringed instrument called the Kora — which is made out of a gourd!! The Kora was brought to the New World by Enslaved Africans in the 17th century. It sounds similar to a harp or lute, and was a precursor to another instrument which you’ve probably heard of: the banjo! And That’s a Fact!!
