Calling all 6th, 7th, and 8th graders in PE!! All students must bring their iPads to PE this week for Physical Fitness Testing! When fitness testing is complete, you can lock your iPad in your PE locker. But DON’T FORGET them after class! Once again, everyone should bring your iPad to PE.

Read any good books lately? The “Talk about Books” Club” — a.k.a. TAB — will be meeting TODAY during all grade level lunches in the library. So grab your grub and come take a look at these Totally Awesome Books!!

Attention MUNNERS! The Model UN club will meet TODAY in room C105 during ASP I. Participants will debrief on the National Cathedral Conference, and start planning for the next conference. Everyone is welcome to attend. See Mr. McDermott with any questions.

The tech crew meeting for Shrek, Jr. has been RESCHEDULED for this THURSDAY during ASP 1 and 2 in the Theater. Once again, the tech meeting is now on THURSDAY.

Everybody in the pool!! The WMS Swim and Diving teams are getting ready for a new season. Interested athletes should complete the Google Form on the WMS website by February 21st.

Show someone you care this Valentine’s Day with a card and a Candy Gram! From Tuesday to Friday, students can purchase a Valentine’s card for a dollar or a Candy Gram for 2-dollars in your TA. They’ll be delivered to your special someone next week — and all money raised will support the Best Buddies Club. Happy Valentine’s Day!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! The WMS Model UN Team was back in action last weekend at National Cathedral High School in Washington, DC. Seven members of the team served with distinction on four different committees. And big props to 8th grader Faris K. who was named Outstanding Delegate from Iraq on the UN Security Council. Way to go, MUNNER Wolves!! [clap]

Wolf Pack Pride continues with the Math Counts Club. Our WMS “Mathletes” competed at Chantilly High School this weekend. Congrats to Daniel P., Ethan J., and Tanish S., for doing an amazing job. But the biggest shout out goes to 7th grader Michael K. who is moving on to the State Competition in March — one of just two students in all of Northern Virginia to make the cut. Way to go, mathlete wolves!! [clap]

And finally — We’ve got spirit, yes we do, we’ve got spirit, how about YOU?! This week is SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — leading up to Homecoming and the Yeti-Land Dance! Thanks to everyone who showed their school spirit for Switch It Up Day!l

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Wednesday is Twin Day; Thursday is Sports Day; and finally, Friday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade blue, 7th grade white, and 8th grade black.
