Today is an EARLY RELEASE day, so the schedule is a little different than usual. We will be following a modified C-Day schedule. That means TA ends at 7:55, and then you’ll be attending periods 1 through 7. Be sure to double-check that you’ve got the correct books and binders for class. Again, this is a modified C-Day. See your TA teacher with any questions.

It’s nearly time for the 2nd quarter Wolf Paw Drawing!! That’s right — the 2nd Quarter Wolf Paw Drawing is this FRIDAY. But to be eligible for a prize, you MUST submit your Wolf Paws to your grade-level box by the end-of-the-day TODAY. Prizes are now on display outside of the library. There’s some great stuff in there, so come take a look! Once again, be sure to submit your Wolf Paws TODAY. And good luck!!

Who’s ready to party?! The 7th and 8th grade “Sneaker Ball Dance” is scheduled for this FRIDAY from 6:30 to 8:30pm in the WMS gym. There will be a DJ, dancing, and snacks. And best of all: hanging out with your friends. But please — NO OUTSIDE GUESTS. Once again, the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance is this Friday night. And be sure to wear your sneakers!

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at Williamsburg, sponsored by the Student Council Association. Thanks to all the students and staff who dressed up for today’s theme: Celebrity Day! You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Thursday is Class Colors Day — 6th grade Blue, 7th grade White, and 8th grade Black! And we wrap it up with Flashy Friday — so wear your best Hollywood Bling! Plus, everyone is encouraged to wear SNEAKERS all week long — leading up to the 7th and 8th grade Sneaker Ball Dance!

Today’s fact is about Lonnie Johnson — a NASA Aerospace Engineer and a prolific inventor. He is most famous for inventing the SUPER SOAKER and Nerf Launchers — which made over a BILLION dollars in sales. And That’s a Fact!!
