Do you have a need? A need for speed? If so, the WMS Track and Field team wants YOU!! There will be an informational meeting for Track and Field on TUESDAY after school in the Gym. Learn about the team, different events, meet the coaches, and have all of your questions answered! And if you want to join the team, you must submit your physical by Friday, March 8th. See Ms. Hogwood or Coach Treble with any questions.

And now for a “wellness tip” from our school clinic! It’s cold, flu, and covid season again — so here are three simple strategies for keeping our shared environment HEALTHY and SAFE! First — WASH YOUR HANDS!! Second — Fully cover your mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing. And third — if you’re not feeling well, please STAY HOME. Together, we can stop these germs and viruses BEFORE they spread. See our school nurse with any questions.

Ready, set, READ!! The 8th annual March Madness Tournament of Books has officially begun!! This year’s contenders are a mix of old-time favorites and new titles that are burning up the book charts.

Here’s how to participate: Just go to the WMS Library Canvas Course and cast your vote for the Sweet-16. We’ll announce the results next week. And remember: the TA in each grade with the best bracket will win a prize — so make your vote count! The March Madness Tournament of Books — may the best book win!!

And now it’s time for WOLF PACK PRIDE!! Congratulations to 8th grader Lily H., whose team finished in FOURTH PLACE at the U.S. Figure Skating Synchronized Skating National Championships in Las Vegas last week!

She is among the very best figure skaters in the entire COUNTRY — and maybe someday… in the entire WORLD!! Way to go, Lily!! [clap]
