The Helping Hands Food Drive — which is benefiting the Arlington Food Assistance Center — will be collecting donations until this THURSDAY. And remember — whichever grade donates the most food will get a POPSICLE PARTY! So you can help people AND get a sweet treat. Who’s going to win? Show your donation domination, and give to the Helping Hands Food Drive!

This is the last week of Black History Month — and it’s time to see how much you remember about the Black History Month TRIVIA that we’ve been sharing all month long. Just scan the QR codes posted throughout the school to test your knowledge. And whichever grade gets the most correct responses will earn BONUS POINTS for the WMS Pep Rally this Spring. Good luck, wolves! And thanks for supporting Black History Month!

It’s time to start thinking about NEXT year’s classes! All 6th, 7th, and 8th graders need to submit their SchooLinks Course Plan by this FRIDAY. If there are any “errors”, don’t worry — your counselor will contact you about fixing it. And remember — these decisions MATTER! If you don’t pick your classes, someone ELSE will pick them for you. See your class counselor with any questions.

Ready, set, READ!! The 10th annual March Madness Tournament of Books is about to begin!! This year’s contenders are all new books to the WMS library — so they may also be new to YOU. Just go to the Library Canvas course for a description of each book.

TAs are encouraged to complete a class bracket for the March Madness Tournament of Books by next Tuesday. Then students can VOTE on their favorite books each week. May the best book win!!

It’s SPIRIT WEEK here at WMS — leading up to the 7th and 8th grade Glow Party this Friday. Thanks to all the students and staff who showed their school spirit by dressing up for today’s theme: Twin Day!! You’ve got spirit, yes you do!!

And here’s the rundown for the rest of the week: Thursday is Pan Africa Day; and Friday is Neon Day. So get into the spirit for Spirit Week, and be a part of the Wolf Pack Pride!

And another reminder for our 7th and 8th graders — the Glow Party is scheduled for this FRIDAY from 6 to 9pm in the school gym. Students can purchase tickets during lunch for just 2-dollars each. Let’s light up the night, wolves!!
